Mr. Cohen joins ProCredEx as its Head of Product where he is responsible for solution design, go-to-market strategy, and overall operations. He is excited for ProCredEx to empower the talented credentialing professional community to drive administrative waste, lost revenue, errors, and prolonged timelines out of credentialing.
For over a decade, Mr. Cohen has worked to drive innovation in healthcare credentialing. As a Partner at Tenon Consulting, Mr. Cohen helped large healthcare organizations increase efficiency and quality in their credentialing operations. A sample of results include an 83% reduction in process duration, 0.3% credentials error rate, 70% increase in credentialing staff productivity, NCQA accreditation (scoring 99.3% in debut review), and recognition by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a “Best Place to Work.”
Through Tenon’s venture program, Mr. Cohen also led an outsourced credentialing services firm and designed a credentials management SaaS offering. Across these efforts, Mr. Cohen continuously worked to develop new strategies and tools to ease the burden placed on credentialing professionals, improve the clinician experience, shrink process timelines, and reduce revenue forfeitures.
Prior to joining ProCredEx, Mr. Cohen served as Vice President of Growth Enablement for SOC Telemed, the largest provider of acute care telemedicine services in the country. During his tenure, Mr. Cohen helped launch TelemedIQ, the firm’s enterprise telemedicine platform, oversaw growth team operations, and provided advisory services for healthcare organizations seeking to realize their strategic goals through telemedicine.
